Explainer videos are my bread and butter.

The amount of online content increases at an ever-accelerating pace and most businesses have found that videos are the surest way to appeal quickly and effectively to potential customers. Using a voice with these videos adds a human touch and can help create an instant connection between the listener and the message.

My natural speaking voice is light, relaxed and friendly but professional and trustworthy. These qualities are ideal for the explainer video market, where the customer is already interested enough in the product to click on a video and doesn’t want to be shouted at or spoken to in a “voiceover-voice”. They just want someone to talk normally and sincerely to them, making the subject as clear as possible, while keeping them engaged and interested.

Business App Explainer Videos

In our current fast-moving, innovation-rich world, apps play an integral part in the running of most businesses. These apps need clear and exciting ways of engaging potential customers and standing out from the rest of their competitors. Through explainer videos, apps can be presented quickly and succintly to their business leads. In this B2B area, a voice artist needs to be professional, current and tech-savvy while maintaining a relaxed, non-salesy attitude to appeal to the target market.

Medical/Healthcare Explainer Videos

With a sincere, light and positive voice, I have often contributed to videos for various charitable and health organisations, such as the University of York, JSI Consultants, UK Biobank and the ICRC.

Educational Explainer Videos

These are promotional videos for educational establishments and private education companies. With a youthful, educated voice, I often get approach to voice this type of content.

Clients include Politecnico di Milano, UCL Bartlett, MTM Consulting and Erasmus Hogeschool Brussels.

Technical Explainer Videos

With a science background, I find it easy to deliver scientific and technical material intelligibly, accurately and efficiently.

Leisure/Food Explainer Videos

One of my great loves is food so it’s fantastic to be able to voice explainer videos in the Food and Leisure markets. We all need to eat (including our pets!).
