French Explainer Videos

Explainer videos in French are often (but not always) localised versions of original content in English. This means that, as well as being a skilled narrator, the voice artist needs to be experienced at matching both timing and tone.

Being completely bilingual, I can appreciate the subtleties and nuances of a vocal performance by the original artist in English and match them closely, while maintaining a personal, truthful delivery.

I am also very used to making sure vocal timings are the same, whether the video involves live-action or animation, stock footage or original content and even if lyp-synching is required.

Here’s a sample of videos I have voiced in French, some original and some localised versions of videos already existing in English.

If you want consistency and to save some money at the same time, I can even provide both English-language and French-language versions of the same video at a lower cost than employing two separate voice artist.

Business App Explainer Videos

I have a professional yet natural tone to my voice, which suits the newer aspects of the business world, including apps and tech products.

Being of the same generation as those designing, creating and buying these apps, I understand the shifts in the world of business, from the reality of remote or hybrid working, to the reliance on digital technology in the workplace. My casual tone will never sound patronising or boring but will always be truthful and sincere.

Some of the brands I’ve voiced for in this genre include Fluida, CODiLOG, Brosix and Showpad.

Technical Explainer Videos

I have a clear, articulate tone, which can ensure the product can be understood by the target audience, however technically complex. Throughout my reads, I can maintain brightness and energy so that the listener remains engaged, no matter the subject matter.

I also studied Physics at University (find out more in my bio) and am naturally technicalyl-minded so have no difficulty in understanding and communicating scripts with a high engineering, scientific or medical content.

Leisure/Food Explainer Videos

My voice has a friendly, casual tone to it, which can fit perfectly within the leisure industry.

One of the videos here (Pampa Hi L’original) is in English with a French accent. When I first started learning English as a young child I did indeed have a French accent so I find it easy to slip back into it when needed.
